Mission Statement

The mission of Red Cedars Upper Elementary School Counseling Department is to provide a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address students’ academic and career goals, in addition to supporting their personal and social needs.  Through a partnership with parents/ guardians, staff, and community members, all students will be encouraged to develop in a safe and nurturing environment.  The Counseling Department is committed to delivering services that will develop long-term self-directed, realistic and responsible decision making skills, and empowering student growth towards achieving future goals.  

Vision Statement

All students at Red Cedars Upper Elementary School will possess the academic skills to be lifelong learners, the social-emotional skills to be global leaders, and the excitement and passion to enter into careers that contribute to their community.  Our schools’ students will display empathy, appreciate diversity, realize their value and worth, and have the resiliency to manage long and short-term challenges.  

 

Caring Closet at Red Cedars

What a wonderful project to support kids in need.

Goal of the Caring Closet to provide access to “student life essentials” (various non-perishable food items, water, clothing, hair hygiene/care items, body hygiene products, dental hygiene items, feminine products, laundry items, school supplies, and more).
